Who I am

I’m Lee White and I’m a Career and Leadership coach with a passion to help others succeed!

Over the past 26 years, as a U.S. Air Force veteran and consultant, I’ve enjoyed a wide range of experiences that I draw from to create the best possible coaching experience for each client.

My approach to coaching comes from my values and principles which are based on honesty, integrity, authenticity and true desire to see others succeed!

I work in a manner that is supportive, caring, and easy going, but challenging at the same time. I want my clients to enjoy the coaching journey but also push themselves to be the best they can be. I aim to keep the atmosphere calm yet fun and energetic and I will push you when needed.

My typical clients are highly motivated to create change so they can continue to excel and achieve amazing results. They are open and willing to accept the challenges that are in front of them and committed to taking action so they can take that next step in their career.

Your success is my top priority and we partner together to get you to the results you desire!

My Goal

To empower leaders at all levels, to use their gifts and abilities to achieve meaningful and lasting change that results in amazing careers and more dynamic organizations.
To grow, we must constantly learn, and our resources are everywhere, as we can learn from everyone we meet.

My Career Principles

1. Honesty, Integrity and Loyalty, first and always!
We can’t do it alone and if people can’t trust you, it’s going to be a long hard road.
2. Be proud of who you are and always be yourself.
Authenticity is key to building any relationship.  Don’t try to be anybody else. Just be the best “you” that you can be! (I can’t count how many times my dad told me this)
3. It doesn’t matter what you want to do in life, as long as you do your best.
More words my dad told me many times growing up! (And he didn’t think I was listening to him)
4. There is a leader in everyone.
Never underestimate yourself or anyone.  Talent is hiding in places you may never expect.
5. You can learn from everyone you meet.
Always keep an open mind and remain teachable. Formal education, training and books can teach you a lot, but do not discount the knowledge that comes from your daily interactions with others. Be alert to the things others can teach you, especially if they have succeeded in an area or at something you want to do.

Why I Coach

About Me

I’m a professional coach with a passion to serve others by helping them reach their full potential and have an amazing career that brings them great pride and accomplishment!

I specialize in working with motivated leaders, who are ready to enhance their careers, by helping them tap into their full potential and create meaningful change that has lasting impacts on both them and their organizations.

Using my skills and experience from 26 years as a U.S. Air Force veteran, consultant, corporate leader, program and project manager, career and relationship builder, and coach, I’m helping to build stronger leaders and organizations that take action, and achieve impactful and lasting results!

My Journey

I have been fortunate to be a leader at all levels during my career.  From my days as a young Airman, pushed into leadership roles due to injury or force reduction, to my time as a senior leader in consulting firm, I took on these opportunities to lead, learn and grow, with excitement and energy.

I met a lot of great people during this time, who taught me many things and these experiences resulted in a lot of success.  The most rewarding was helping others, at many levels, grow, excel and achieve results that made a lasting impact on themselves and their organizations! Having the opportunity to see them become stronger leaders and get promoted were the proudest moments of my career!

For a good portion of my career, the appearance was that I was doing well.  While I enjoyed success, I realized that I wasn't happy.

I spent the first 17 years of my post military career working with little vision or direction on where I was going in my career.  I was that young Airman with no idea what I was going to do with my future. I was that veteran who took a job so I could pay the bills. I was that mid-careerist who was trying to climb the corporate ladder, not really sure how to make it happen. I was that senior leader in a company still trying to grow and help others but unsure how to do it.

I felt like I was just going through the motions and when I saw an opportunity or something I wanted, I went after it. I succeeded a lot of times, but I ended up being a “jack of all trades, master of none”.  While this made me a well-rounded professional and learned alot (no complaints about that), it didn’t make me great at anything.  I was just good.  I don’t know about you, but I know when I was growing up, my dreams never involved me being just good.  Being good wasn’t being my best! So while I was doing well in my career, I was far from happy and really couldn’t understand what was missing.

So, a couple years ago I hired an Executive Coach to help me gain focus, grow as a leader and expand my leadership skills.  What I didn’t realize is that during this journey I would find my passion and truly understand my vision for my life. This was the “ah ha” moment I had been looking for! I finally had clarity on what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be.  I created a plan, took action and didn't look back and today I’m a certified professional coach, doing what I’m most passionate about! I've never been happier as this has been the most rewarding time of my career and it's also been a huge blessing on my personal life as well!

Why I Coach

My passion is to help others succeed. I believe there is no greater satisfaction than seeing others achieve results and live a fulfilling and rewarding life that they choose! I’ve experienced the ups and downs in my career and I want to help those who are in a similar situation, avoid the pitfalls like losing valuable time, being frustrated, or not knowing what do to or how to do it.  I want my clients to achieve their goals and excel at all levels! I want them to have a successful career that they are excited about and proud of!

The truth is, we have the power to determine how our careers progress and turn out.  Yes, sometimes it seems like people have a certain amount of power over us, but it's not what we think because it's our decision to let them take this power from us.  It's our decision to continue knocking on doors that keep closing instead of opening.  It's our decision to continue working in an environment that doesn't fit our needs.  It's our decision to not achieve because we are too scared to seek the help that's needed or take the corrective action required.  It's our decision to settle for what's "safe" instead of pursuing our dreams. It’s our decision to take action and be the best that we can be!

Does any of this sound like you?  I hope not, but if you are reading this, there's a chance something in here does.
